In a significant move for India’s mid-range tractor market, Escorts Kubota Limited has expanded its Digitrac tractor lineup under the Powertrac brand. The announcement was made in Lucknow on April 22, 2026, marking a strategic push into the 45 to 55 HP segment.
The expanded Digitrac series is designed to meet the needs of farmers and operators looking for reliable performance in both advanced agricultural work and heavy haulage tasks. With this update, Escorts Kubota is strengthening its presence in one of the most competitive tractor categories in India.
The company has added three new models to the Digitrac lineup:
Digitrac PP 46i 4WD
Digitrac PP 43i Plus
Digitrac PP 41i
These models join the existing Digitrac PP 46i and Digitrac PP 43i, taking the total number of tractors in the series to five.
All five tractors in the updated Digitrac range come equipped with several practical and performance-focused features. These include larger tyres that improve stability and traction, along with side shift gears for better control during operations.
The tractors follow a standard mechanical setup featuring a 12 forward and 3 reverse constant mesh gearbox. This configuration is paired with an independent power take-off system, making the tractors suitable for a wide range of farm implements.
In addition, each model offers a hydraulic lift capacity of 2,000 kg, allowing users to handle heavy equipment with ease.
Among the new models, the Digitrac PP 43i Plus stands out with its ability to reach a top speed of 39.9 km/h, offering faster movement between fields and transport tasks.
Company Statement
According to Neeraj Mehra, the introduction of these models brings features to the 45–55 HP category that were earlier available only in higher horsepower tractors. This move aims to deliver more value and advanced capabilities to farmers within this segment.
Availability Across India
The newly expanded Digitrac tractor series is now available for purchase through authorised Powertrac dealerships across India, making it accessible to customers nationwide.
With the addition of three new models, Escorts Kubota has strengthened its Digitrac lineup and enhanced its offering in the 45 to 55 HP segment. By combining higher-end features, strong lifting capacity, and practical performance, the company is aiming to meet the evolving needs of modern Indian farmers and transport operators.
