Under this partnership, TVS Motor will supply electric three-wheelers designed for passenger and cargo needs. ALT Mobility will handle leasing, financing, and procurement using its well-established network.
These vehicles will be made available through TVS dealers and ALT Mobility sales points across India. The collaboration also introduces a drive-to-own model, which allows drivers and fleet operators to pay through leasing instead of a large upfront purchase. Over time, users can own the vehicle by completing their lease payments.
ALT Mobility will take full responsibility for asset management, including:
Preventive maintenance
24/7 monitoring
Insurance and roadside assistance
Servicing and repairs
Regulatory compliance
This approach ensures drivers can focus on earning while facing minimal downtime.
The partnership also promotes financial inclusion, enabling drivers who cannot afford to buy vehicles outright to still access EVs. This model will help small fleet owners and drivers grow their business while contributing to cleaner transportation.
Rajat Gupta, Business Head for Commercial Mobility at TVS Motor, said this partnership represents a big step toward sustainable last-mile and urban mobility. He highlighted that TVS electric three-wheelers offer long range, fast charging, and high durability, making them reliable for commercial use.
Anuj Gupta, Co-founder and Chief Business Officer at ALT Mobility, added that the collaboration will scale up leasing operations and build a robust zero-emission logistics network in India.
The partnership between TVS Motor and ALT Mobility will not only support India’s transition to electric mobility but also strengthen the last-mile logistics and passenger mobility sectors. It will create opportunities for thousands of drivers to earn a stable income while helping India move closer to its green transportation goals.
