The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alerts for heavy to very heavy rainfall in many states over the next few days. Farmers, travelers, and fishermen have been advised to take necessary precautions.

According to IMD and Skymet Weather reports, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in:

Light to moderate rain is also likely in Jharkhand, West Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, and the northeastern states during this week.
