TAFE Sets Up A State-Of-The-Art Design Center To Thrive In Tamil Nadu's Industrial Market

TAFE, a leading player in the agriculture machinery industry, is set to diversify its operations by enhancing its Farm Equipment Division to develop an advanced range of farm machinery customized for a variety of crops.

In a significant move aimed at expanding its footprint and contributing to the agricultural and power generation sectors, Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd (TAFE) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Tamil Nadu.

The agreement was formalized during the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet 2024. TAFE, a leading player in the agriculture machinery industry, is set to diversify its operations by enhancing its Farm Equipment Division to develop an advanced range of farm machinery tailored for a variety of crops.

Additionally, the company plans to invest in upgrading its facility for the assembly and export of Silent Generators, targeting markets in the Middle East and Africa. A major highlight of this strategic move is TAFE's commitment to establishing a cutting-edge design and development facility in Tamil Nadu.

Mallika Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director of TAFE, expressed her enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Tamil Nadu is one of the most industrialized states, with an evolved industrialized culture, investor-friendly government, rich and diverse talent pool, and inherent strengths that are conducive for innovation. TAFE is keen to leverage the vibrant ecosystem of Tamil Nadu and work closely with the Tamil Nadu government as it invests in new growth opportunities.”
