PM-KISAN was launched in February 2019 to provide financial support to eligible farmers. Under this scheme, farmers receive ₹6,000 per year, paid in three equal installments of ₹2,000 through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
So far, 21 installments have been released under the scheme. Through these installments, the central government has transferred more than ₹4.09 lakh crore directly into farmers’ bank accounts. The 21st installment was credited in November, offering timely support to farmers across the country.
At present, the government has not officially announced the release date of the 22nd installment. However, looking at the pattern of previous payments, installments are generally released every four months.
Based on this cycle, the 22nd installment is expected around February or March 2026. Farmers are advised to regularly check official updates, as an official announcement may come soon.
If your PM Kisan installment is delayed or stopped, one or more of the following reasons could be responsible:
PM Kisan e-KYC not completed
Aadhaar is not linked to a bank account
Incorrect bank account number or IFSC code
Land record verification not completed
Mismatch in name, Aadhaar, or bank details
Due to any of these issues, the installment can be put on hold until corrections are made.
