₹1,500 to be transferred on 7 August 2025

The Madhya Pradesh government will transfer the 27th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana on 7 August. While the usual monthly support is ₹1,250, this time the amount has been increased by ₹250 as a Rakshabandhan gift, bringing the total to ₹1,500.

This step has been taken so that the Ladli sisters can celebrate Rakshabandhan with happiness and dignity, supported by financial aid from the state government.

Government’s Aim: Empowerment Through Financial Support

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that this financial assistance is more than just monetary aid. It is a symbol of the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment, self-respect, and well-being. The additional amount is meant to ease the financial burden on women during the festival season, allowing them to manage household needs, health, and children’s education with confidence.

What is Ladli Behna Yojana?

The Ladli Behna Yojana is a major welfare scheme launched by the Madhya Pradesh government on 5 March 2023 by then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Its goal is to help women become financially self-reliant and improve their health, nutrition, and education.
