Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB), a key part of the Mahindra Group, reported a strong tractor sales performance in December 2025. The company recorded healthy growth in both domestic and export markets, supported by favorable agricultural conditions and improved farmer sentiment.

In the domestic market, Mahindra sold 30,210 tractors in December 2025. This marks a 37% year-on-year growth compared to 22,019 units sold in December 2024.

These factors together boosted demand for tractors across key farming regions.
Mahindra’s tractor exports also witnessed strong momentum. The company exported 1,649 tractors in December 2025, registering a 78% growth compared to 924 units in December 2024.
With exports included, Mahindra’s total tractor sales stood at 31,859 units, reflecting an overall 39% growth year-on-year.

For the April–December 2025 period, Mahindra sold a total of 4,06,592 tractors, achieving a 21% increase over 3,36,623 units sold during the same period of FY25.
Domestic sales reached 3,91,890 units, up 21%
Exports stood at 14,702 units, growing 20% year-on-year
This consistent performance across both segments highlights Mahindra’s strong position in the tractor market during FY26.

Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, said that Mahindra sold 30,210 tractors in the domestic market during December, reflecting a 37% growth over last year. He added that improved cash flow after the Kharif harvest, favorable weather conditions, and healthy reservoir levels have supported higher Rabi sowing, which is expected to keep tractor demand strong in the coming months. He also highlighted that export sales of 1,649 tractors marked a 78% growth compared to last year.
With strong agricultural fundamentals and steady export demand, Mahindra Tractors is well-positioned to maintain growth momentum in the upcoming months, reinforcing its leadership in the Indian tractor market.
