Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB), part of the Mahindra Group, has announced a strong performance in tractor sales for September 2025. The company recorded 64,946 units sold in the domestic market, marking a 50% growth compared to 43,201 units sold in September 2024.
This growth was mainly driven by the recent GST reduction on tractors, early Navratri celebrations, positive Kharif crop outlook, increased sowing activity, and above-normal monsoon conditions across the country.

Mahindra’s total tractor sales in September 2025 stood at 66,111 units, including exports. This represents a 49% growth compared to 44,256 units sold during September 2024.
Exports contributed 1,165 units in September 2025, reflecting a 10% increase from 1,055 units in the same month last year.

From April to September 2025, Mahindra sold 2,57,025 tractors, achieving 20% growth compared to 2,14,849 units sold during the same period of FY25.
Domestic sales stood at 2,47,336 units, up 20% from 2,06,236 units last year. Export sales reached 9,689 units, a 12% increase compared to 8,613 units in FY25.

Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, said: “We have sold 64,946 tractors in the domestic market during September, a growth of 50% over last year. The Honourable Prime Minister’s decision on the GST rate cut has boosted sales during the first nine days of Navratri, which fell in September this year compared to October last year. Along with this, positive Kharif prospects, an increase in the sowing area, and above-normal monsoon supported growth.”
