Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has once again strengthened its leadership in the Indian tractor market by recording impressive sales in October 2025. The company achieved 12% year-on-year growth, driven by strong festive demand, improved rural sentiment, and steady exports.

In October 2025, Mahindra sold 72,071 tractors in India, compared to 64,326 units sold in October 2024. This represents a 12% increase in domestic sales. The festive season and better rural purchasing power played a major role in boosting sales performance.
Mahindra also witnessed excellent performance in the export segment. The company exported 1,589 tractors in October 2025, as against 1,127 units in October 2024, marking a 41% rise. This consistent export growth highlights Mahindra’s expanding global presence and strong demand for its farm equipment across international markets.
Combining both domestic and export markets, Mahindra’s total tractor sales in October 2025 stood at 73,660 units, up from 65,453 units sold in October 2024. This represents an overall 13% growth, showing the company’s steady upward trend in both local and global markets.

From April to October 2025, Mahindra recorded total tractor sales of 3,30,685 units, compared to 2,80,302 units sold during the same period last year. This reflects a strong 18% growth in overall sales.

The combined festive growth of 27.4% reflects strong market sentiment. A good monsoon and the recent GST rate cut have supported demand. Going forward, timely Rabi sowing and steady Kharif harvesting are expected to sustain the growth momentum.”
