Mahindra Tractors partners with the MP government to train rural youth in tractor and harvester technology, boosting skills, jobs, and farm mechanization across Madhya Pradesh.

Key Highlights

Mahindra Tractor Skill Development has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate of Agricultural Engineering, Government of Madhya Pradesh. This partnership aims to strengthen rural skill development and create more job-ready youth in the farm mechanization sector. The initiative will help meet the rising demand for skilled manpower in agriculture and farm equipment services across the state.

Skill Training to Be Offered at Five Centres

Under this agreement, Mahindra will conduct Tractor and Harvester Technology training programs at five Kaushal Vikas Kendras in Madhya Pradesh. These centres are located in Bhopal, Sagar, Satna, Jabalpur, and Gwalior. With this, the program will cover five out of the six state-run skill development centres, ensuring wide regional reach and access for rural youth.

Focus on Practical and Job-Oriented Learning

The training program is designed to provide hands-on and industry-focused skills related to tractors and harvesters. Rural youth enrolled in the program will gain practical knowledge that can help them find employment in tractor dealerships, service and repair centres, and farm equipment operations.

This collaboration highlights Mahindra’s strong commitment to agricultural growth, youth empowerment, and skill development, while supporting the state government’s efforts to improve employability and strengthen the rural economy.
