The event highlighted both a production achievement and the growing role of women professionals in the company’s manufacturing operations.
The Pithampur manufacturing facility recently achieved the production of its 1000th harvester, marking an important step in the plant’s operational journey. The milestone reflects a steady increase in output since the facility began operations.
Over the past few years, the company has gradually expanded the plant’s manufacturing capacity. The latest production achievement demonstrates the plant’s growing role in Mahindra’s farm equipment manufacturing network.

The facility benefits from a strong supplier ecosystem in the region, allowing the company to manufacture equipment that is developed and produced in India. The machines produced at this plant are sold under the Mahindra and Swaraj Tractors brands, both of which are widely known in the country’s agricultural machinery market.
Apart from the Pithampur celebrations, Mahindra also organised Women’s Day events at several other manufacturing locations across India. These included facilities in Mumbai, Nagpur, Rudrapur, Zaheerabad, and Jaipur.
Founded in 1945, the Mahindra Group has grown into one of the world’s leading multinational business groups. The organisation employs more than 324,000 people and operates in over 100 countries.
