The government has transferred ₹48 crore to the bank accounts of more than 31 lakh women under the LPG cylinder subsidy scheme. This initiative aims to support women from economically weaker families and encourage the use of clean fuel for cooking.

The government continues to run several welfare schemes for women and farmers, including the LPG subsidy scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Through this scheme, women receive financial support for LPG cylinder refills.
Recently, the Madhya Pradesh government transferred ₹48 crore to the accounts of women eligible under Ujjwala Yojana and Ladli Behna Yojana. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released this amount from Petlawad in Jhabua district.
Apart from LPG subsidy, ₹320.89 crore has also been credited to the accounts of 53.48 lakh beneficiaries under social security pension schemes for the elderly, disabled, and women.
The LPG subsidy is mainly given to women from families linked to the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Many states also offer this benefit to economically weaker families.
In Rajasthan, families under the Food Security Scheme get the subsidy.
In Madhya Pradesh, women associated with both Ujjwala Yojana and Ladli Behna Yojana receive the benefit.
Other states follow their own rules for providing subsidies.
You can check whether the LPG subsidy has reached your account by following these simple steps:
Visit the official website mylpg.in.
Select the company that provides your LPG connection.
Click on “New User” for registration.
Enter your consumer number and registered mobile number, then click “Continue.”
Create a user ID and password, then sign in.
Enter the captcha code along with your login details.
Click on “View Cylinder Booking History” on the left side.
You will see details about your booking, payment, and subsidy credit status.
If you cannot check the subsidy online, you can visit your nearest Common Service Center (CSC). Provide your Aadhaar card, mobile number, and bank account details, and the CSC officer will check and confirm if the money has been credited.
Visit your bank branch: Inquire whether the subsidy has been credited to your account.
Use the LPG company’s mobile app: Install the app, log in, and check under the “Subsidy” option.
Visit your gas agency: They can also provide details about the subsidy status.
