24th installment of ₹1250 under Ladli Behna Yojana released; over 1.27 crore women received funds via DBT.

The Madhya Pradesh government has released the 24th installment of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana 2025, a flagship scheme aimed at empowering women in the state. Under this scheme, ₹1250 has been transferred directly to the bank accounts of over 1.27 crore women throughDirect Benefit Transfer (DBT).

₹1250 Credited to Over 1.27 Crore Women

The 24th installment was officially released on May 15, 2025, by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav during a special program held in Sidhi, as part of his one-day tour of Rewa and Sidhi districts in the Vindhya region.

During this program, ₹1552.38 crore was transferred to the accounts of 1.27 crore Ladli sisters across Madhya Pradesh. The previous installment (23rd) was released on April 16, 2025.

Total Funds Transferred So Far Under the Scheme

Since the launch of the scheme in June 2023, a total of 24 monthly installments have been given to beneficiaries. Additionally, two special installments of ₹250 each were issued during the Rakhi festival.

The Ladli Behna Yojana, also known as Mahila Arthik Shaktikaran Yojana, was started in 2023 by former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is now the Union Agriculture Minister. The scheme is regarded as a revolutionary step for women's financial empowerment in the state.
