The month of October will be exciting for farmers across India as three major agricultural fairs are being organized in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. These Kisan Melas aim to educate farmers about advanced farming techniques, improved seeds, modern machinery, and scientific methods of agriculture.

The government regularly organizes agricultural exhibitions and fairs to help farmers learn about new technologies and innovative practices. Last month, a successful agricultural fair was held in Hisar, Haryana, and continuing that effort, Kisan Mela 2025 will bring together thousands of farmers, experts, and agri-industries under one roof in different states this October.
The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology will organize the All India Farmers’ Fair and Agricultural Industry Exhibition in Modipuram, Meerut from October 14 to 16.
According to Director of Extension and Fair Incharge PK Singh, this year’s theme is “Nutritious Grains and Prosperous Farmers.”

Animal exhibitions and dairy production
Horticulture and vegetable displays
Fruit exhibitions and live demonstrations
To keep the fair lively and entertaining, performances by folk singers and magicians will also be organized for the visiting farmers.
The 118th All India Farmers’ Fair will be held at Pantnagar Agricultural University, Rudrapur, from October 10 to 13. Farmers from different states of India and even Nepal will participate in this mega event.

According to Vice Chancellor Dr. Manmohan Chauhan, seminars and field visits will also be organized to teach scientific farming methods.
The fair will be inaugurated by Retired Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh, Governor of Uttarakhand.
The Madhya Pradesh government will organize a State-Level Agricultural Fair in Sehore from October 12 to 14.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that the fair will bring together farmers, industrialists, and experts from across the country.
The event’s main focus will be on connecting farmers with the latest agricultural innovations, dairy development programs, and modern equipment.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the government’s efforts to make Madhya Pradesh a leader in agriculture and dairy production.
