Madhya Pradesh has extended the subsidy application date for farm equipment to April 16, helping more farmers access machinery at a lower cost.

There is good news for farmers in Madhya Pradesh. The state government has extended the last date to apply for a subsidy on agricultural equipment. Now, farmers can apply till 16 April 2025, instead of the earlier deadline of 8 April 2025. This extension will help more farmers benefit from the scheme as the harvesting season for Rabi crops is going on, and preparations for Zaid and Kharif crops will begin soon.
The official update has been shared on the Agriculture Department portal.

Under the Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana, the government is giving subsidies on eight major types of agricultural equipment, which include:
Happy Seeder (provided as per demand)
Power Sprayer/Boom Spares
Subsoiler Agricultural Equipment
Stone Pecker Agricultural Machine
Raised Bed Planter with Inclined Plate Planter and Shaper
Laser Land Leveler Agriculture Machine
Fertilizer Broadcaster
Pulverizer (up to 3 HP)
Backhoe/Backhoe Loader Agricultural Equipment (35 HP Tractor Driven)
Note:Happy Seeder is available on demand without the lottery. For other equipment, farmers will be selected through a lottery on 17 April 2025.
The Madhya Pradesh government offers a subsidy of 40% to 50% under this scheme:
50% subsidy for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), small and marginal farmers.
40% subsidy for general category farmers.
Farmers can use the subsidy calculator available on the Kisan Portal for accurate subsidy details.
To apply, farmers must attach a demand draft (DD) of the prescribed amount along with the application. The DD should be made in the name of the Assistant Agriculture Engineer of the respective district. Applications without a proper DD will not be accepted.

To apply under the scheme, farmers need to keep the following documents ready:

Mobile number (for OTP and updates)
First page of bank passbook (for account details)

Tractor Registration Card (for tractor-driven equipment)
Registered farmers can apply through theE-Krishi Yantra Anudan Portal.
Unregistered farmers must first register via MP Online or CSC before applying.
