Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) has launched its third-generation ride-on rice transplanters, the KA6 and KA8, in Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Telangana. These new models come as demand for modern and mechanized paddy farming continues to rise across India.
The new transplanters are designed with fuel-efficient engines, offering 21 HP in the KA6 and 24 HP in the KA8. These machines promise better performance, lower fuel usage, and improved productivity in paddy fields.
Both KA6 and KA8 come with:
Smart turning system for effortless movement in fields
Automatic lift function for easy cornering
Multifunction control lever
Horizontal control mechanism ensuring uniform planting depth
The models also feature redesigned planting claws to reduce missed planting and ensure even seedling placement. An upgraded seedling picking guide improves planting accuracy, helping farmers achieve better crop growth and consistent yields.
To support long working hours, Escorts Kubota has added several operator-friendly enhancements:
