Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business reported strong tractor sales in December 2025. The company sold 7,577 tractors, representing a 38.5% year-over-year increase compared to 5,472 units in December 2024. Growth was supported by healthy domestic demand and a sharp rise in exports.

In the domestic market, Escorts Kubota sold 6,828 tractors in December 2025, representing a 36.1% increase from the 5,016 units sold in December 2024.
The company highlighted several reasons for this positive performance:
Supportive government policies
Lower GST rates and ongoing state subsidies
Favorable agricultural conditions
Strong Kharif harvest and improved Rabi sowing
Better water availability and positive rural sentiment
These factors helped maintain steady retail demand across key farming regions.
Exports continued to be a major growth driver. Escorts Kubota exported 749 tractors in December 2025, a 64.3% rise compared to 456 units in December 2024.
The export numbers include tractors from Farmtrac, Powertrac, and Kubota brands, reflecting strong demand in overseas markets.

The growth reflects sustained rural demand, better farm output, and continued policy support for agricultural mechanization, along with rising overseas demand.
