Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL), a leading name in India’s tractor industry, has released its tractor sales report for July 2025. The company reported a total sale of 7,154 tractors, marking a 2.7% growth compared to 6,963 units sold in July 2024.
In July 2025, domestic tractor sales stood at 6,624 units, which is a 1.3% increase over 6,540 units sold in July 2024. The company credited this growth to several positive factors, such as timely and widespread monsoon, improved water reservoir levels, and better rural market sentiment. These factors helped farmers financially, boosting agricultural activity. EKL noted that while commercial demand was moderate, agriculture-related demand remained steady.
With Kharif crop sowing surpassing last year’s levels, Escorts Kubota remains optimistic about continued momentum in the tractor market during the coming months.
In the export market, EKL achieved significant growth. The company exported 530 tractors in July 2025, compared to 423 units in July 2024, registering a sharp 25.3% growth in export sales.

From April to July 2025, Escorts Kubota Limited sold a total of 37,735 tractors, compared to 37,333 units sold during the same period in FY25. This represents a 1.1% overall growth.
However, domestic sales during this period stood at 35,472 units, slightly down by 1.3% from 35,949 units in FY25. In contrast, export sales increased significantly, with 2,263 units exported, compared to 1,384 units last year, reflecting an impressive 63.5% growth in exports.
