India's tractor sales rose 11.31% in Jan 2025, with 61,875 units sold. M&M Group led, John Deere saw highest growth.

Brand-Wise Tractor Sales Performance

M&M Group (Mahindra)

M&M Group (Mahindra Tractors) continued to dominate the market, selling 26,305 tractors, an increase of 14.51% from January 2024. The company's market share rose by 1.19%, further strengthening its position as the leading tractor manufacturer in India.

TAFE Group

TAFE recorded moderate growth, selling 10,709 tractors, marking a 13.29% increase from the 9,453 units sold in January 2024. However, its market share saw a marginal rise of 0.30%, reflecting mixed performance in an expanding market.

Sonalika

Sonalika reported 8,027 tractors sold, achieving a 12.14% growth from 7,158 units in January 2024. The brand's market share increased by 0.10%, highlighting consistent growth.

John Deere

John Deere posted the highest growth rate of 18.01%, selling 6,436 tractors compared to 5,454 units in January 2024. The brand gained 0.59% in market share, showing strong demand for its products.

Escorts Kubota

Escorts Kubota faced challenges, reporting a 10.68% decline in sales, with 6,058 tractors sold in January 2025, compared to 6,782 units in January 2024. Its market share also dropped by 2.41%.

New Holland

New Holland demonstrated impressive growth, with a 38.00% rise in sales, selling 2,905 tractors in January 2025 versus 2,105 units in January 2024. The company gained 0.91% market share, reflecting its strong recovery.

Preet

Preet reported a 13.93% drop in sales, with 346 units sold in January 2025 compared to 402 units in January 2024. The brand also saw a 0.16% decrease in market share.

Indo Farm

Indo Farm witnessed a 19.39% decline, selling 316 tractors in January 2025 compared to 392 units in January 2024. The company's market share dropped by 0.19%.
