The Agri Stack Scheme is an initiative by the Yogi government to survey the crops in the fields of the farmers digitally. Out of 93 thousand Khasras in the district, 13 thousand have already been surveyed. This will help the farmers get timely compensation from the government or the insurance company in case of any disaster that damages their crops. The digital survey will also reveal the type of crop that the farmer has planted in his field.

The survey data will be securely stored online with the Government and the Agriculture Department. This will facilitate the real-time monitoring of the crops from sowing to harvesting. In addition to this, the survey is being done under the scheme. The government is carrying out this survey under the Agri Stack scheme to ensure a fair and accurate evaluation of the crops. Earlier, the survey data was manually collected by the employees of the Agriculture and Revenue Department and submitted to the government.

Crop damage will be assessed accurately. With the Digital Crop Survey that is being done under this scheme, the government and the insurance company will be able to know the exact crop that the farmer has grown in his field. This will help them to assess the crop damage and provide compensation accordingly.

Previously, the employees of the Agriculture and Revenue Department used to write down the data on paper and give it to the government. Now, digital crop surveys use modern techniques to collect data.
